Boudreux taught us about graciously, humbly accepting our care. The lesson? There is no shame in needing help from people who love us; it gives them a chance to express that love in a different way that might actually be fuller and more honest. In the long run, our humility in accepting help from others may assist in their salvation too.

 Our Karma was diagnosed with DM some years ago. After she passed away, we have become active members in spreading awareness, finding a cure and prevention. ❤️

My Mac struggled with DM for three years before I helped him cross the bridge. I knew nothing about DM, and my veterinarian knew little. I felt totally alone in our struggle.

 Twelve year old Annabelle is one year into her DM journey and the strongest (and sassiest) lady you'll ever meet!

Desmond is 10 years old, and was diagnosed with DM in January 2020. He continues to be so brave and strong, despite DM and losing an eye to cancer. #ShadeOutDM 

Eve and I are racing to shade out DM to bring awareness of this preventable disease and help fund research to combat it.

We're Still in the Fight for a Cure for DM Dogs Everywhere   

Skadi was diagnosed with DM a year ago. We’re walking for him and all the other sweet pups who don’t deserve this illness.

Tilly carried us everyday of her life and when her legs gave out, we carried her. Watching DM take her legs was hard but we wouldn't let it take her joy. 

Heika developed DM at the age of 10. 

If it is possible to eradicate DM, which it is, than humans should do everything in their power to achieve that.

Sadly it is a debilitating disease that many of our members have had first hand experience with. We feel it is important to help in any way educate owners and support corgis and all breeds that fall victim of DM. 

We are ready to help #Shade out DM 

Every dog suffering with DM was only one decision away from a better a life - testing and responsible breeding is the right decision.  

 It’s important to Team Olive that DM be "shaded out" because dogs deserve to live every day to the fullest!

 Team Sir Cedric wants to educate and eradicate DM for all his corgi friends 

Promoting research, and testing so future generations can become DM free.

In honor of Barry, my heart dog, a rescue corgi that was an unlikely agility success and the love of my life. He fought DM and a meningioma (brain tumor) valiantly but lost his battle at age 11 in February, 2019. I know he would love to be remembered and to help shade out this terrible disease. 

Deuce makes friends wherever he goes and tells everyone to give a woof about stopping DM. 

When we bring a fur baby to our families, we know they will be loving, loyal and nothing but positive energy in our lives. In the back of our minds, we know maybe 10 to 15 years of happiness before we start to think of their decline. DM takes time from you and your baby to enjoy their positive energy.  They are fighters and they make you stronger.  This disease needs to be Shaded Out. We walk in honor of our precious Angel Abby (aka babycakes).

Frank does not have DM but we are coming to support all the DM Warriors!
