The RACE platform is a bit different this year but the mission is still the same! We will still have separate Awards for the following catagories:
- DM Warriors - USA (both currently taking the DM journey or in memory of your DM Warrior)
- DM Warriors - International (both currently taking the DM journey or in memory of your DM Warrior)
- Advocacy (don't have DM pup but want to help Bark w/us!)
- University - Students - represent your school!
- Corporate - Businesses - represent your company (a great Team Building exercise!)
- Helping Paws (for rescues & nonprofits - a portion of the $ raised on your team goes back to your nonprofit)

At Shade Out DM Foundation, we believe that pets are family, and we are committed to providing the best avenue to help you Bark out Loud for the pups! It takes a whole village to take care of our furry friends. This Annual RACE to #ShadeOutDM is designed to let others know that not only CAN this disease be PREVENTED, but we also offer a support group on facebook to help those during the journey as well as a loaner cart program to help make this experience a bit more affordable. Our loving community is always available to answer any questions and provide experienced advice on handicapped pup care. Whether you're a dog lover or a supportive friend, we hope you will join us in making a difference!

How to direct people to join your team
- 1. send them the link to your team https://www.givesignup.org/shadeoutdm24-kc (for example)
- 2. Fill out registration
- 3. Check "suitable" category (be sure to tell them which one your team is in)
- 4. Complete registration
- 5. Print out your bib #
- 6.
Take some pics (with your RACE #) with your pup, stuffed animal or just with friends wearing sunnies
- 7. Post your pics all over Social Media tagging #shadeoutdm or @shadeoutdm (just please make sure your posts are made public so that they get counted) during the week of Nov. 10th - 17th, 2024
Build your Team of Friends & JOIN US no Matter where you are located!
The point is to RAISE AWARENESS about DM all across the WORLD!!!
